From Digitel's own experience and expertise with information technology, marketing analysis and management as well as working with a major local university and attempting to assist them with numerous critical issues, CIRCAMS came to life.
 
This first version of CIRCAMS was created specifically for the continuing education market.  The primary goal of this system is stated directly in its name, to improve the retention of existing students and convert potential students into actual students by analyzing patterns and then being able to interact with the selected virtual student population.  The power of CIRCAMS lies in its ability to quickly assemble virtual populations, quickly and easily create a message for the collected population, and finally, to communicate your message with the virtual population by choosing from a number of different communication strategies and then being able to track the populations response.  But the above is not all that it does, there is a lot more.
 
From a Marketing Perspective:
 
  • CIRCAMS supports tracking of existing and/or prospective student's interests.
 
  • CIRCAMS supports the ability to create surveys and connect the results of the surveys directly to individual student's interests.  The surveys can be added to outgoing messages or web pages with responses being tracked by CIRCAMS.
 
  • CIRCAMS also supports sponsorships.  This can provide additional revenue streams by connecting specific sponsors to specific message topics and can be added to outgoing messages or web pages with responses being tracked by CIRCAMS.
 
  • CIRCAMS also supports the ability to create solicitations for donations and have these solicitations added to outgoing messages or web pages with responses being tracked by CIRCAMS.*
 
  • CIRCAMS also supports the ability to create promotions, which can be added to outgoing messages and web pages with responses being tracked by CIRCAMS.*
 
  • CIRCAMS also supports the ability to create and monitor marketing campaigns.*
 
CIRCAMS is not limited to just preparing messages and communicating with students. It can easily be used campus-wide with its many capabilities being taken advantage of by administrators and staff as well as being integrated into numerous existing procedures and processes.
 
Like many other projects of this type that we have been involved in over the years, we kept waiting to see whether CIRCAMS would really achieve its primary goal.  As results began coming in, it became very clear that CIRCAMS made a significant contribution.  We believe that you too could benefit from what CIRCAMS is capable of doing.  It is this belief that has driven us to make CIRCAMS our first commercial software product.

As CIRCAMS continues to undergo rigourous testing of its modeling capabilities, Digitel extracted some of CIRCAMS technology and created cAds, which will begin selective public beta testing on March 8th 2006
